Suzuka Sunday Road Race ST600 class 1&2 finish

MORIWAKI Club members dominated the podium at the 4^th round of Suzuka & Kinki regional Championship held last weekend. Fujishama started the race from pole position and won while his team made, Tabara got 2^nd.

Fujishima had to fight to gain the top at the beginning but after he took the lead at the half of the race, he opened the gap to the one behind and finished the race.

Tabaru started from 4^th position and gradually went up. The latter part of the race, he had a good battle with former team mate and grabbed the 2^nd place.

Other club members in the class were Miyajima and Tanaka, came 7^th and 10^th.

It is less than a month to the Suzuka 4hrs Endurance Road Race. We hope them to keep the momentum and get the same result at the 4hrs.

Motorcycle Parade 2009

Suzuka City Commerce and Industry Association is organizing the motorcycle parade again this year during the Suzuka 8hrs Endurance Road Race event. The parade will leave a gathering point set up by Suzuka city and to Suzuka Circuit. This is the opening of the 8hrs Eve Night party.

The gathering point will have booths and shops from the members of the Commerce and Industry Association. Go and have a look at all the events happen in Suzuka City during the 8hrs week.

Development is on schedule. Several features in different specifications are being tested while basic concept is kept.

New HONDA CUB110 Exhaust system

We are now preparing brand new exhaust system for the recently release new Honda CUB110. Steel exhaust in classical megaphone style, it comes with 2 different types, chrome or black. It creates sharp single-cylinder sound while meeting the JMCA requirement. It also meets the “acceleration noise standard” that will be set next year.

The exhaust system will be released mid July. We started taking order from this week.

Lecture

We were asked to give a lecture to members of police mobile unit of Ibaraki Police Department who were going to attend “Police motorcycle safety ride National competition.” We visited Ibaraki on May 17 and talked about MORIWAKI’s ambition toward motorcycle racing and characteristics of motorcycles.

Yamaguchi, the former JSB MORIWAKI Racing rider gave special riding training after the lecture.

Aikodai Meiden High School

Mr. Moriwaki was invited to give speech to 180 senior high school students at Aikodai Meiden High School in Nagoya. The theme was “Introduction of the cutting age technology.” The school was hoping their students to find any hints for their future.

Mr. Moriwaki told students the joy and hardness of being a manufacturer and craftsman, and his philosophy.

We wish those students the best for their great future.

Suzuka ST600 100km Road Race

Suzuka ST600 100km Road Race was held last weekend as a support race of the “Road to 8hrs” Suzuka 300km Endurance Road Race.

Tabaru, Tanaka and Miyajima, the 3 riders from MORIWAKI club joined the race while Fujishama, last year podium winner giving up due to injury.

Tabaru got highest among three, finished 4^th, just missed the podium.

Just over a month to go before the Suzuka 4hrs Endurance Road Race. All the members are trying hard to reach the pinnacle. Thank you for your support.

MORIWAKI machine comes to your city!?

Coca Cola Zero Suzuka 8hrs Endurance Road Race campaign will go around Tokai and Kanto areas. MORIWAKI MOTUL RACING machine will be displayed.

From June 9 to 14, at Ito-Yokado shopping mall in Narumi, Nagoya. The MORIWAKI machine will go around 5 different locations, displayed for a week at each place.
