“Road to 8hrs” Suzuka 300km Endurance Road Race is on this weekend at Suzuka Circuit. The race started in unstable weather on Sunday the April 4. Yamaguchi got good start with his CBR600RR ST600 machine from 7th grid and moved up to 4th by the end of the lap1. He kept up with race leaders and got 3rd by lap6 and kept the position for another 7laps until 2 others passed him on lap14. He managed to move back up to 4th and finished the race.

Tatsuya Yamaguchi, MORIWAKI Club is in ST600 class and marked 58.746sec, 7th grid start for the first round of All Japan Championship this season.
In GP-MONO class, 3 MD250s are competing to each other for MDGP points. Tsubokawa marked his personal best and got 4th in the grid, followed by Ohsako in 19th and Ogura in 20th.

The first round of the West Cup Challenge was held at Okayama International Circuit on Sunday and Tabaru, MORIWAKI Club rider came 3rd from his first ever pole position start.
It was a good start of the season taking a podium finish. More podiums and victories will follow. Thank you for your support.
The West Challenge Cup ST600 class saw Tabaru, a MORIWAKI Club rider taking the pole position at Okayama International Circuit on Mar 14.
He remarkably shortened his personal best lap time to 1min36.6sec. “We managed to solve the problem we had in the previous day.” He mentioned. “I try harder to even shorten the lap time in the race.” He added.
The race will start from 15:25 this afternoon. His-first ever pole position start!
Tabaru is now going to Okayama International Circuit to enter this Sunday’s “West Challenge Cup” ST600 class.
Tabaru won the Suzuka 4hrs Endurance and Regional Championship in 2009. He moved up to International License from this year so now he is eligible to enter All Japan Championship races. There will many All Japan class riders racing this weekend at Okayama. This is a great opportunity for Tabaru to test his level, and plan for the All Japan Championship himself.
How good is he going to be??? He will know what he has to do next when he finishes this weekend race.
New challenge is just about begin in 2010
MORIWAKI Club officially made a partnership with the Italian tyre maker, Pirelli. MORIWAKI Club riders actually had tryout at last year NGK Cup race and result was promising.
This year, Fujishima and Tabaru will enter Suzuka Challenge Cup ST600, and Miyajima in Regional Championship ST600. And we have Yamaguchi entering All Japan Championship. It is his first full appearance in ST600 class since 2003.
We like to ask your continuous support to our challenge in 2010.

Motorsports award from Suzuka city mayor
Motorsports award was presented to award winners on December 23 at Suzuka Circuit. Tabaru, who left college of technology to become motorcycle rider and came to Suzuka city 4yrs ago. He won the Suzuka 4hrs Road Race in July and received this commendation.
Originally from Saga city, Kyushu, he started riding when he was 17. He was trained 2yrs at Suzuka Circuit School and moved to Suzuka city. He currently working at a logistics company and continue racing on weekends.
“I felt how much I was blessed by the staffs when I won the 4rs.” he said. “It was full of surprising and emotion. I will be ‘Toshiotoko’ (in Chinese zodiac) next year, so I would like it to be the year to take a big leap and have the world in my sight.” He added.

It is great that our MORIWAKI club activity is acknowledged by Suzuka city. We continue our motorsports activities to make contribution to local area.
The final round of Suzuka Sunday Road Race 2009, NGK Cup was held on December 6. 2 riders from MORIWAKI Club were entering the cup, Tabaru in “Suzuka-Kinki ST600 Championship” and Fujishima in “West Challenge Cup ST600.”
The rainy Saturday qualifying session saw Tabaru taking the second position on the grid in his class. Fujishima got pole position, having comfortable 4 second lead to his closest opponent.
On Sunday, Tabaru finished in 5th and taking his first Suzuka-Kinki ST600 championship title of the season.
Fujishima dominated the race from the beginning. Won the race with 13 seconds.
We also saw a MORIWAKI MD250H got a podium at Suzuka-Kinki GP-MONO class. Takase battled through till the last corner of the last lap, showed great race. He won the MORIWAKI Prize, too.
